In addition to being one of the gentlest skin cleansing agents; rice water has many properties that make it an excellent addition to your skin care regimen. It is loaded with vitamins (A, B1, C, E), minerals, and amino acids that are essential for beautiful skin; including ferulic acid, a nourishing antioxidant; and allantoin, an organic compound that helps soothe and improve the appearance of skin.

The astringent effects of rice water make it a great toner. It helps tone, tighten, and soften the skin; and allows for a more radiant look. The starchy content of rice water is useful for easing skin discomfort; reducing the appearance of large pores, redness, age spots, and inflammation; balancing pH; and easing itchy or irritated skin.

To use, after washing and rinsing with your rice water cleanser spritz a small amount onto your cloth or cotton swab and dampen your face. Leave it on and let it air dry. Follow with your moisturizer.

Our rice water toner is simply made from organic brown jasmine rice; organic aloe leaf juice; organic lavender hydrosol; witch hazel; and organic lemon, lemon myrtle, and lemongrass essential oils; and a natural plant-based preservative.
