With the coronovirus epidemic, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) now recommend wearing a cloth face covering in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain, e.g., grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. The purpose of these masks is to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may unknowingly have the virus keep from transmitting it to others. The masks are NOT a substitute for continuing to maintain social distancing.
Our 3D (3 dimensional) face masks are made of 100% tightly woven cotton with a layer of non-woven interface for additional filtering. We also include an adjustable nose bridge wire and adjustable elastics with anti-slip cord connectors. They fit snugly but comfortably across the bridge of the nose, under the chin, and against the sides of the face while allowing you to breathe and talk without restriction. They are suitable for men, women, and children over the age of 2 and can be safely machine washed and dried without damage.
Read below for important instructions on using, removing, and cleaning your mask. Colors may appear differently on different screens.
NOTE: THESE ARE NOT SURGICAL MASKS OR N-95 RESPIRATORS. These masks provide a physical barrier from viral particles; but they do not have the filters that N-95 respirators do. However, they are better than nothing; especially for people who only go out in public to make a quick trip to the store.
DO NOT USE THESE MASKS ON CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 2, ANYONE WHO HAS TROUBLE BREATHING, OR ANYONE UNABLE TO REMOVE THE MASK WITHOUT ASSISTANCE.
HOW TO WEAR YOUR MASK:
Masks are only effective if you wear them properly. The World Health Organization (WHO) says to:
Wash and dry the mask using a high heat setting before use.
First wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before touching or putting the mask on.
Ensure your entire nose and mouth are covered when you put it on.
Shape the flexible metal snugly around your nose.
Avoid touching the mask while you are out as this can contaminate the mask.
DO NOT take the mask off while you are in public.
DO NOT touch the front of the mask while wearing it and taking it off.
Wash and dry the mask using a high heat setting immediately upon return home so it does not contaminate your belongings.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO HAVE MULTIPLE MASKS IF YOU ARE OUT IN PUBLIC OFTEN.
PRECAUTIONS:
Masks ARE NOT a substitute for social distancing.
Stay home; only leaving for emergencies, food, and medication
Practice proper hygiene.
Avoid large gatherings.
DO NOT live in fear.
Always remain grateful.
