Our African Black Soap is authentic, raw, pure, natural soap handmade with organic ingredients by women in Ghana. Our Black Soap is made with shea butter, honey, palm oil, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, cocoa pod powder, carmwood, distilled water, and aloe vera. It contains no preservatives, man-made synthetics, or artificial fragrances or colors.
Black Soap is a natural cleanser with a natural ability to exfoliate and can be soothing to those with dry skin, rough skin, sensitive skin, and razor bump irritation; and can reduce the appearance of blemishes. It is good for all skin types and can be used to cleanse/shampoo hair.

The bars are hand-cut and come in approximately 3.5 - 4 oz bars.
Black Soap is a softer soap that will dissolve if kept in water. Therefore, keep it dry when not in use. When exposed to air the soap may develop a white film. This is normal and is what happens when air mixes with the soap. It is not spoiled, it is a sign that you have authentic African Black Soap. You can store it in an air-tight container to reduce the white film.
